Eligible Criteria for SAIL Refractory Unit Recruitment 2015

Educational Qualification:-
1.Operator-cum-Technician Trainee(Mechanical):-
Essential Qualification :- Matriculation and Three years full time Diploma in Mech. Engg. from Govt. recognized Institute.

2.Operator-cum-Technician Trainee(Electrical)
Essential Qualification :- Matriculation and Three years full time Diploma in Elec. Engg. from Govt. recognized Institute.

3.Operator-cum-Technician Trainee(Ceramic):-
Essential Qualification :- Matriculation and Three years full time Diploma in Ceramic Engg. from Govt. recognized Institute.

4.Operator-cum-Technician Trainee(Civil):-
Essential Qualification :- Matriculation and Three years full time Diploma in Civil Engg. from Govt. recognized Institute.

5.Operator-cum-Technician Trainee(Computer Science):-
Essential Qualification :- Matriculation and Three years full time Diploma in Computer Science Engg. from Govt. recognized Institute.

6.Dy.Manager (Production):-
Essential Qualification :- Bachelor’s Degree in Ceramic Engineering with minimum, 65% marks average of all semesters from AICTE approved college or recognized University / Institution.

Minimum post-Qualification experience :- 7 Years in executive cadre of a Public Limited Company (both Public and private Sectors)/ Govt organization in manufacturing/ application/ marketing of refractory
materials like Magnesia Carbon/Silica/Basic/Fireclay/High Alumina bricks or monolithics/masses.

1.Operator-cum-Technician :-
Upper age limit relax-able by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer) respectively with respect to posts reserved for them. Relaxation in age to Persons with Disabilities and Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government Directives. Those domiciled inthe state of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89 will be allowed 5 years relaxation in upper age limit. Relaxation/reservation to ex-servicemen will be as per Government Guidelines.




2.Dy.Manager (Production) Age Limit :-
Upper age limit relax-able by 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer) with respect to posts reserved for them. Relaxation in age for Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government Directives. Those domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89 will be allowed 5 years relaxation in upper age limit. Pay Band and other Benefits:
1.Operator-cum-Technician :-
Candidates selected as Operator-cumTechnician Trainee will be paid consolidated pay ofRs.10700/- per month during the first year of training and Rs.12200/- per month during the second year of training. During the period of two years training, trainees will also get medical facility for self, spouse and
dependant children. Leave, etc will be as per the rules of the company.


2.Dy.Manager (Production)
The emoluments for the post of Dy.Manager (Production) includes basic pay (pay Scale of Rs.32900-3%- 58000), Industrial DA, perquisites under the cafeteria approach and other facilities such as medical benefits for self and dependent family members, contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity and Leave Encasement as per rules of the company. In addition, House Rent Allowance will be paid only where company accommodation is not available.

2.Dy.Manager (Production):-
General/OBC :- Rs. 500/-

Selection Procedure :- Eligible candidates will be required to appear in written Examination. On the basis of their Performance in the Written Examination, they will be called for interview. Before applying, the candidates should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility norms. Their registration will be provisional as their eligibility will be verified only at the time of interview. Mere issue of Admit Card/Interview Call Letter will not imply acceptance of candidature. Candidature of a registered candidates is liable to be reject at any stage of recruitment process or even on joining, if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or not in conformity with the eligibility criteria at any stage or if the candidate fails to be false or not in conformity with the eligibility criteria at any stage or if the candidate fails to produce valid documentary proof in support of his eligibility.
