Eligible Criteria for OSMC Recruitment 2015

Age Limit: The upper age limit for the post is 40 years as on 8/03/2015. Upper age relaxation 10 years for PWD candidates, 5 years for SC / ST / SEBC / Women candidates shall be allowed. Relaxation of age in case of ex-service men will be made as per Government rules.

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Medical Electronics / Electronics / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Tele Communication Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical / Mechanical / Bio-Medical Engineering (with minimum 60% of marks) with minimum 3 years post qualification experience in maintenance of Medical Equipment in a hospital or Medical Equipment Company.

Note: Relaxation of 10% marks will be given for SC / ST category candidates.

Selection Process: Candidates will be required to appear in a Computer based written exam. Based on performance of written exam shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview at the Head office of Odisha State Medical Corporation Ltd. at Bhubaneswar.
Note: In the written test, candidates will be tested for subject knowledge and general aptitude. General aptitude test will comprise of general knowledge, current affairs, English, reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, fundamental knowledge of computer etc.
